These APKs are intended to allow users who own Minecraft to play on servers that have not yet been upgraded to the latest version of Minecraft. Minecraft is distributed as a modular package with multiple APKs that are required to successfully install. You can use SAI (F-Droid, v4.5 APK, Play Store) to install these files. You can upgrade from an older version without uninstalling since these are the original APKs from the Play Store. Unfortunately, Android still requires you to uninstall Minecraft before installing a previous version if you have a newer version installed. You are also able to upgrade from any of these versions to the latest version through the Play Store, so make sure automatic updates are disabled for Minecraft.
